Mother Church earnestly desires that all the faithful should be led to that fully conscious, and active participation in liturgical celebrations which is demanded by the very nature of the liturgy. Such participation by the Christian people as "a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a redeemed people" (1 Pet. 2:9; cf. 2:4-5), is their right and duty by reason of their baptism.

Deacon Frank AgnoliBiography

Deacon Frank Agnoli was ordained for the Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky, in 2002. He is married to Marianne, and they have two children. He worked as a family physician in rural Kentucky for a number of years before returning to school to earn his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Theology degrees at St. John's University School of Theology and Seminary. Frank and his family then returned to Kentucky where he served for five years as the Pastoral Director of two parishes that did not have a resident priest, doing just about everything that a pastor would do. He completed the Doctor of Ministry in Preaching degree from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in May 2009 and is currently enrolled in the Homiletic Supervision Program at St. Meinrad School of Theology.
