yearoffaithlogododYear of Faith called by Pope Benedict XVI
The Year of Faith begins on October 11, 2012, the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council and 20th anniversary of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and ends on November 24, 2013, the feast of Christ the King. This sacred time will provide Catholics the opportunity to celebrate, deepen and share the spiritual richness of their Catholic faith. On this page you will find resources for observing and celebrating this year in communion with the Church throughout the world.

For this Year of Faith, Pope Benedict has encouraged the faithful to study and reflect on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Here is an easy way to do it. Visit:  http://www.flocknote.com/catechism.
Simply enter your email address and - starting October 11, 2012 - you'll start getting a little bit of the Catechism emailed to you every morning. Read that little bit every day and you'll read the whole catechism in a year! Flyer
