All grants must be in our office by May 15, 2024. No later than 4:00 p.m., in order to be considered at the June Board meeting. Please NOTE that we are no longer using the postmarked by date. May 15 is the date your grant must be in our office without exception. We hope this will help you with your grant request calendar.
Organizations that received grant funding are now required to submit a Progress Report. This Progress report must be completed no later than April 30 of the current grant cycle. Failure to submit the Progress Report will impact future grant applications.
Site visits will be conducted by a CRS/CCHD board member prior to the grant disbursement meeting held the third Thursday in June. The site visit is to gather more information about your organization/project. The commission member will become your advocate at the CRS/CCHD board meeting.
The board will only consider projects within the 22 counties of the Diocese of Davenport.

In November each year, Catholic parishes across the U.S. take up a second collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). Of the funds collected in the Diocese of Davenport, 25% becomes available for distribution to projects within the diocese. The other 75% of the funds are forwarded to the national CCHD office for investment in projects around the country, including projects in our Diocese, which address the causes of poverty and injustice.
