St. Ambrose University offers individuals the opportunity to earn a Master of Pastoral Theology degree. Students gather one weekend a month and have reading and writing assignments between gathered sessions.
Certificates in Catholic Theology require individuals to complete a particular series of STEP courses and complete a final assignment. Offered in the disciplines of Catechesis, Doctrine, History, Liturgy and Scripture, the Certificate Program offers individuals the opportunity to specialize in a particular discipline.
STEP offers a series of online courses for adult learners. Each course runs between 5-7 weeks in length, is moderated by a trained facilitator, and offers learners the opportunity to select a topic of interest for growing their understanding of the Catholic Faith.
VLCFF at the University of Dayton offers courses designed for adult learners in ministry areas. Each course is 5 weeks in duration and participants are graded on their submissions by the course facilitator.
My Catholic Faith Delivered offers individuals the opportunity to study on their own time, through video and reading presentations. Participants have one year from the date of purchase to complete a course.
Courses are also available for High School and Elementary Students (Note: These do not take the place of enrollment in a parish-based faith formation program or Catholic School)

Seven Mile Chats - A podcast where host Julia Strukely discusses a Scripture Passage of her guest's choosing each week. Seven Mile Chats is a reference to a Gospel passage in Luke where two friends walk and have a conversation about Jesus during which he appears to them. Seven Mile Chats is meant to be a conversation between friends in hopes that some kind of light or insight will appear from the discussion.
