NCYC, the National Catholic Youth Conference, is a biennial celebration of the young Church sponsored by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry. This event gathers together over 23,000 Catholic High School youth (grades 9-12) and their adult leaders from across the nation. Check out www.nfcym.org/ncyc1 for information about the conference. The Office of Faith Formation at the Diocese of Davenport organizes and brings one of the largest groups to every NCYC.

The cost for this pilgrimage is $535 per person.
The fee is based on lodging with quad occupancy and in limited cases, triple occupancy. Double and single occupancy rooms for adults may be available for an additional charge.  

Included in the fee: 

• Transportation (motor coach bus – to/from Indianapolis and to/from hotel/convention center)
• Lodging (3 nights at Indianapolis Marriott East and Delta Hotels by Marriott Indianapolis East
• Conference registration fee
• Breakfast each morning at the hotel
• Diocesan t-shirt
• General programming costs (supplies, Diocesan staff assistance, etc.)

November 19, 2018: The Road to Indy - The Details. This webinar will detail the projected per person cost, payment schedule, diocesan scholarships and resources to get you started.

January 24, 2019:  The Road to Indy - Fundraising. We'll share successful fundraising ideas, strategies and tips for emphasizing the "fun" in fundraising, and how to infuse a spiritual and theological dimension into your fundraising efforts.

Use the Group Size Deposit Form to provide participant numbers and housing preferences for adults. Be prepared to provide gender and age group specific information. Prior to filling out this form, review the Group Size Deposit Form Instructions. 
Please note:

• Parish groups will be financially responsible for the submitted participant numbers.
• The completion of this form and a $75 non-refundable per person deposit are both due by January 21, 2019

NCYC Diocesan Scholarship Application 
The Diocese of Davenport is able to provide a number of NCYC 2019 registration scholarships. These scholarships are need-based for youth requiring financial assistance due to low income or a hardship. Those individuals that qualify will receive either a full ($225) or partial ($115) award/credit that will be applied to their parish's September payment. Applications are filled out by the youth and then given to their group leader for recommendation. Leaders are to send in completed applications to the Office of Faith Formation by December 10, 2018.

National (NFCYM) Scholarships and grants. Deadline was May 1st. Information was emailed directly to each parish group leader.  

An invoice will be provided for all payments with the exception of the January Deposit.
